The Purified 4 is a crossoverless modular loudspeaker system designed to be driven active with your own crossover and amplifiers. It has a full aluminium enclosure on the inside to minimize resonances. And a spherical shape on the outside for a smooth diffraction pattern.
Available with a selection of four Purifi 4-inch drivers and five BlieSMa 25 or 34 mm tweeters, thus twenty variants. For each variant a measurement data set and reference crossover design (DSP parameters) are included in the delivery.
As a surface finish of the top unit you have a hardwood or a high quality black plastic cover to choose from.

Solid wood or plastic cover on top of aluminium enclosure
Your Purified 4 will have its own distinctive appearance as each solid wood panel is unique. During the manufacturing process, we match enclosure pairs, to ensure each pair has a similar look. However, no pair will look exactly the same. We like you to be aware of this before buying.
Solid wood is a living material that will change over time. Because of variation in humidity and temperature the wood will expand and contract. Hairline cracks are typical for solid wood and to be expected. The Purified 4 is carefully constructed to avoid breakage as the wood ages. Several pieces of cork-rubber are placed between the aluminium cylinder and the solid wood to absorb any expansion or contraction.
If a fancy look has no priority with you, we do offer a high quality thermoplastic black finish too, it is more budget friendly without compromising on performance!
Internally, the top unit of the Purified 4 is made out of aluminium, in order to increase the stiffness and strength of the enclosure. The end result is an acoustically inert enclosure which ensures that all you hear is the sound of the exceptional PURIFI driver.
Purifi Extended Woofer or Purifi Midrange
Keep in mind that with the midrange drivers you will need a subwoofer close to each Purified 4 (so you need at least two subwoofers), while with the extended woofer you only need one subwoofer as you can cross over low enough to keep it acoustically invisable.

Our tweeter enclosures are undergoing a redesign! The 25 mm has been finished and measured again, the results are excellent. Next will be the enclosure for the 34 mm tweeters. One of the advantages of a modular system is that most parts can be replaced very easy.

General specifications
Each variant will be delivered with an optimized reference crossover design made by Peter Larsen from Loudsoft based on measurements performed in a class 1 semi-anechoic chamber from IFAA .
You can transfer the crossover parameters, like slope, gain, delay and so on, to your DSP for a quick start. And together with the measurement data set you are able simulate (with for example VituixCAD) and customize the crossover to your specific goals.
